Monte Vista Drive
Palm Springs, CA
A Palmer and Krisel home with an existing extremely lush, green landscape. The interior had been redesigned incorporating a minimal aesthetic. The client and landscape architect determined that a low water and minimal landscape be created. All vegetation, except the established palm trees, was removed. Large acid etched concrete pads were designed as was a new circulation route from the street to the front door. Very large boulders were selected and craned into the front yard. Minimal, sculptural plantings for the front and back yards were done, along with dramatic exterior lighting that showcases the specimen plant material.
